This journal was originally made for the 2024-2025 Florida Gymnastics team to help each individual team member reflect on their week and competition.
Self-Reflection is such an important part of an athlete’s daily life, road to success, and achieving their goals.
I find that writing down how I feel, what I did, and how my performance went has a much greater effect than just thinking about it in my mind.
I am so excited to share the Leanne Wong Bowtique Gymnastics Progress Tracker that will help gymnasts self-reflect on all four events in either practice or competition and learn about how I constructed the self-reflection journal.
The journal provides athletes with definitions and information on how to follow the guided reflection pages for up to 20 competitions and events!
Explanations & Definitions shared in the journal:
What is a stuck landing? What is a step or hop in the “right” direction and how can a gymnast reduce deductions? Why are positive reflections outside the gym important and what are some important categories of health?
